Deleuze constanlty refers to Nietzsche's phrase as the "eternal return". Of course, Deleuze wants to contend Heidegger's interpretation of Nietzsche. But it seems to me, refering to your quote that, then, the dispute shouldnt be much about "des Gleichen" as about "Wiederkehr", or Wiederkunft" In NIetzsche's terms then, instead of an 'eternal return", or an "eternal return of the same", we would have an "eternal parousia of the same".....
