For the second shocker of the month, WWE hired former WCW President Eric Bischoff for an on screen role on RAW, ending a feud which lasted nearly a decade. In an interview with WWE.COM, Bischoff said that both parties have been in contact for nearly a year but talks turned serious over the past few weeks and last week they both reached a deal. Bischoff said that he came in the arena 15 minutes before RAW went on the air, and was hiding in a limo in the parking lot to keep the surprise factor. None of the wrestlers knew about what was going to happen until he walked in the arena.
