Two parties are fighting for the 'Stone Cold' trademark, and no, one of them isn't Steve Austin. WWE and Stone Cold Records are in a battle over the rights for the name 'Stone Cold' where WWE want the US Patent & Trademark Office to remove the Stone Cold Records trademark. New Hampshire businessman Dexter Durant, who owns the record label, said that he put too much time, effort and money into the label and won't give up the name. The Daytona Beach News-Journal website also quotes Gary Davis, WWE Vice President of Corporate Communications, saying that WWE are moving forward to have discussions with the record company to see if they can work this out amicably.
