Update; I'll turn 80 on this Christmas Day. I have turned in my car keys and no longer drive; my grandson thinks if I need to go somewhere, he'll drive me. That's lovely, but I miss the freedom and then I think, "You silly old woman, you can't load and unload your wee Jazzy chair mobility thing..." and I set back and let him do that. He gets me to church and he does most of the shopping but for that shopping I do online.
I no longer home-school his two children, they've re-joined the public schools, but they come out Friday afternoon and spend the weekends with their father and me.
I have a chihuahua, Sugar, and a cat, Ms. Piggy. Billy (grandson) is owned by a tomcat that has decided to live in the woods with the bears and foxes and possums. He drops by now and then and loves on Billy. He won't let me nor the kids touch him.
I still dabble in genealogy, but not so valiantly as I did when I was here before. Still it's lots of fun to meet new family!
