Granny Married papa 2-13 1930, whose parents were Thomas Webster Nichols and Marrgaret Elizabeth Harmon, papas grandparents were David Washington Nichols, Mandie Elizabeth Nichols and Rufus Harmon whose wife was Louise Jane Barrett "Lizzie". Papas siblings are Lovie May, Lela Belle, Claude and Beullah. Oh 1 more thing here, George Washington Wood's wife Mary Emmaline Phillips b. 1-3-1840 TN, d. 5-6-1912 in Clarendon county, Donley, TX and her parents are Isaac Phillpips b. early 1800's or b. 10-21-1791 d. 1860-1870 and he married Elizabeth b. about 1818 in TN... Whew ok I think that should keep you busy for a while....... Ha-ha!! Send me your address and I will send you some really fun stuff..... I dont know if you have seen the family tree I made for dad, it goes back 300 yrs. He checked it with aunt mary whose morman, and it is accurate as far as we know. Give me your address and I will mail you some cool stuff. My dead end is the Phillips side, what have you got on them? I started a website at kindred connections and I need to go back and add all I have but if you go to www.kindredconnections.com and search for granny you will find some of my stuff. I have found old land deeds, court doc,s etc.. heres a little bit for now:
Caled S. Wood b.about 1688 d. before 1750 begat Charles Wood b.1720 VA d. 1787 MD. Charles married Sarah? before 1748 and they settled in MD on 3-10-1748 when issued a patent for 350 acres of land named "Charles Choice". they begat Charles Caleb Wood b. about 1755 MD d.6-12 1823 TN (Roan county)who married Mary Rosanna Watson. Charles was a corporal in the revolutionary war under Captain John Summers. He was imprisoned in Charleston,SC in 1780. He and Mary md. about 1784 and had 10 kids(i have all their names and dates) One was Caleb S. Wood b. 10-21-1791 TN, d.1860-1870 in Burleson county Texas.His 1st marraige was to Polly Oliver, 6-7-1809 they had 10 kids (again I have all this too w/dates+ his second wife and thier 10 kids! etc..)their son was George Washington Wood b. 10-7-1833 d. 6-15-1908 Big Springs,TX, Howard county.George Washington Wood md. Mary Emmaline Phillips before 1855 and they were the parents of John Wesley Wood b. 1-26-1878 McLennan County TX he was 9th of 11 kids (have all them and dates too!) John Wesley md. Cora Lee Estes b. 2-24-1878 d. 12-16-1950 (Cora's parents are Amos Tims Estes and Sarah Halsey Robinson) and they were the proud parents of.....

These crazy sisters were the wonderful kids of the infamous Pearl Phillips Taylor Townsend, her SSN is 463-22-6306, Pearl died May 1973. Pearl had one husband (plus a few un-mentionable hubby's) whom she married twice as the story goes he was Herbert Eugene Phillips b. 6-12-1897 and d. August 1952. His SSN is 142-07-7217.
Pearls Parents were Oscar N. Townsend and Mamie Townsend Lovett and their kids were: Minor, James, Pearl and Clara May. Thats all I have do you guys have your mom's bible? I don't have my mom's sure wish I did. Herbert Eugenes parents were Jesse Zinn Phillips Sr. and Mary E. Burns Phillips. Grandpa Jesse went by the name of Zinn, hence Mama Zinn..... That is all I have here can you help me out any..... I am really curious about these guys, esp. how they all died.......
Margaret "Lizzie" Elizabeth Harmon was the daughter of Rufus Harmon b. about 1854 d. 2-16-1932 and Louise Jane Barrett Harmon b. 6-1854 d. 1-1-1929, they married 2-2-1870. Now they had 14, yes 14 kids!! I have them all with dates!! I will send later as I have to go to work... Happy searching, let me know where you get. You got me started again, this has been my passion since 6th grade when I had to make a family tree and I won the reward for the biggest tree, thanks to Grannies parents lol......
