Hello, I found this while doing a google search, and just thought I'd say that I might be related. Charles Caleb Wood was my sixth great grandfather.

in Frederick Co., MD. He married SARAH Bef. 1748.Notes for CHARLES
WOOD:Charles Wood and his wife settled in Frederick Co., MD before March
10, 1748, when he was issued a patent for 350 acres of land, which he
name "Charles Choice". Charles died between April 17, 1787, when he
wrote his will, and August 27, 1787, when his will was proven in
Frederick Co., MD. His will mentions his son, Charles Wood, Jr., living
in Rowan Co., NC. Child of CHARLES WOOD and SARAH is:
