I've been a realtor for 17+ years in Ma, and Buyer Agency is here to stay. That agent you spoke to is charging to much period!! The agent's contract w/you should stipulate that the agent will attempt to be paid out of the transaction and he/she should attempt to be paid the same compensation as offered to a subagent.(2.5 or 3%)
