Whatever you negotiate, that's what you get.
It sounds like a fishy operation if broker is
running the business from his home.
All business appointments from home? Lenders,escrow
title ins. people or other agents presenting offers?
Personally, I wouldn't worry about the split, because you may not do any business.
business from your home if you have buyers coming to you and parking at your house. Or any other
business associate.
Then worry about the split.
