George: Thanks for your responses to my former posts, very helpful and appreciated ! :) I have a situation now:
About 3 weeks ago, I found a great house in a great neighborhood for sale by owner and called the seller after I "drive by" saw it, they said they were building a new house/needed/wanted to move by Christmas, but were not interested "at all" to do owner financing/needed "all the money for the new house being built" .. I then "drive by" viewed the house again and reaffirmed it to be even more PERFECT :) .. it still is n-o-t sold and still available for purchase .. next day I called the owner again and heard "many tirekickers, but no contract, unserious offers" blah blah blah .. the seller took my number "just in case" (?) and I am keeping a close eye on this beautiful property, sales price 210K ... my question is George, am I missing something here ? OR should I be doing something more/other than I am doing just "waiting it out" to avoid losing this great property ? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated - thanks :)
