My husband's inherited 2 small homes on the island of Filicudi, off of Sicily in Italy where his dad was born. His cousin who lives in Italy 6 months and Austrailia the other, wants to buy his share, (he SAYS 1/6th!). By the time the $ is shared, my hubby's part will be $1500. My husband has already signed over one of the homes, (as a gift because he trusted him that it was not worth anything). Then we found out there was 10's of thousands worth of antiques and the property was worth alot more than we thought, seeing on the internet that homes with no roof or walls were going for 70K! My question is, how can we possibly find out what this property is worth, and how many owners there are? I am heartsick over my husband being taken advantage of for the 2nd time. We cannot afford to go to Italy. Please help if you can. Thank you for your time. Gerri
