Just before the legislature reduced property tax rates, many Texas cities and counties raised the property valuations. The Times and Record News did a story on it and quoted local realtor Tami Ligon. I think it is a shame that taxing authorities are getting away with this. Vote all incumbents out without any exception- both parties are bad. George P. Im with you George.
