You could have prevented a possible foreclosure if you acted on the problem before it became a problem.
At this stage, I suggest to dump the condo for any price, even if you come out of pocket.
It is a choice between having a foreclosure on your credit report and losing the property anyway
or getting rid off it any which way you can.
Maybe $232.000 ?
Another problem, you have already contacted the lender and sort of put the "wheels in the motion."
Contacting the lender is the very last thing to do.
Can you rent it for $1800 ??
