Posted by Sarah I have long admired Michelle Pfeiffer and her work. As it happens, I also have a big interest in Henry James and film and TV adaptations of his work. Now, someone told me, not too long ago, that Ms. Pfeiffer had had an interest (could have been ten years ago, or less) in making a film based on Henry James's much-filmed novella, The Turn of the Screw. I haven't heard anything about it in some time; does anyone here know anything about such a project? Someone else suggested that her 2000 film with Harrison Ford, What Lies Beneath, might have been influenced by James. (I'm going to try and get hold of the author of the story used for the film.) Anyway, I'd greatly appreciate any feedback! Thank you,
