Posted by batboy I am really excited about Stardust, and while the source material for Hairspray is good, I am concerned with the people behind it. The director has done some really bad stuff, and has not shown any skill, creativity, or artistry in anything he has done so far (see IMDB). Ditto for the producers (the Regans was an embarrassment). well, just wanted to share my two cents. please feel free to respond. i am eager to hear your response. thanks.

I am concerned about the recent turn of events. I am excited that MP is working again, and she has projects with potential. However I am concerned about the possibility that after waiting so long to see her on screen again, we will get all of her movies in one year, and then God knows how long we have to wait again. I would like to see ICNBYW out later this year--during the holidays perhaps--get some awards consideration for MP (Golden Golbe for comedy actress), and then the other two movies--Stardust and Hairspray--out in 2007.
