a glance at his resume and I say no way in hell Focus Features would give him the time of day. He was of course rumored to direct "She's Gone", but I don't think Michelle would start filming another romcom this soon. and it sounds like he said he just came to Los Angeles to direct her in a movie, like right now, but that's not possible, since she's filming Stardust still and if the rumor is true, she will move right into Hairspray next. so I wouldn't put too much stock into that article, I don't care if he's quoted or not.
