Well, I've been meaning to get on here to chat with everyone, but my life has been pretty hectic lately. In March, I bought another dog, a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, whom I call my "depression purchase" and he (Mace), Harley (my 2 yr old black lab) and Jordyn (my 3 yr old) have been keeping me very very very busy. I was coming to chat but no one is on so I just started browsing the site. I came in here, against my will (brings back the whole thing all over again), and was so happy to see you remembered my dad's birthday!! It was a very hard day for all of us. We all hopped on the train and went to Chicago for the day. It was just too much to stay home. We had a beautiful day. In May Eric & I took mom to Myrtle Beach. I was trying to talk Dad into it when he was in the hospital b/c it's handicapped acessible. We all had a relaxing, and much needed vacation away from everything...Everywhere I looked I could picture my dad. Sometimes it's as though I can actually hear him talking to me. It's comforting, yet I wish he was really here talking to me. I hope you all are doing fine. I'll try to get on another day when all the "children" are asleep at the same time...it doesn't happen often! Take care, stay positive, and keep your heads up...That's how my dad, Larry, would want you to be, b/c he was a positive, caring and wonderful man! KEEP FIGHTING!
