I did start my Avonex therapy Sunday right after church, and I really didn't get sick until about 6hrs later. I did actually become very sick with flu like symptoms for about 14hrs including terrible aches, nausea, headache and fever. I am hopeful that I will do better this Sunday and as time goes on. I did have something happen today I did not expect. The thigh that the Avonex was injected into is very sore and painful- a little worse than a bad Tetanus injection. Has anyone else had this reaction? Thank you, Michele
