Peterson of Nebraska City is accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in the home of Tony Premo Sr. on September 8. Premo was critically injured in an altercation there the next day in an incident investigators call unrelated. ----------------------------------------- Lothrop Elementary at 3300 N. 22nd Street was briefly under lockdown late Tuesday morning after shots were heard in the neighborhood. No one was injured. -----------------------------------------
Police found one of the victims Monday morning on the porch of a home near 42nd and Fowler streets.
