Teresa Negron said about five cars pulled up to a home in the area when people inside a nearby home started throwing things at the cars. That's when everyone started fighting. A shot was fired before a man wanted by police was caught by members of the fugitive task force Friday morning in north Omaha. Benjamin Manley, 23, of Council Bluffs, was arrested. There was an arrested warrant for Manley on charges of probation of a drug-related charge in Omaha and felony charges in Council Bluffs. -------------------------------- 35 year-old Creighton Greene was gunned down after trying to break up a fight.On Thursday LaRhonda Flowers of Crete Nebraska was arrested on suspicion of 1st degree murder. --------------------------------- Council Bluffs police officers arrested a woman Wednesday night after she threatened the life of a 14-year-old girl. Penny Reed, 52, of Council Bluffs allegedly held a switchblade to the throat of a 14-year-old Council Bluffs girl and threatened to kill her. Reed reportedly told officers that she pulled the knife in self-defense. She later reportedly stated she never drew the knife, but if fell out of her pocket. According to the report, Reed told another officer that she was trying to prevent one of the juveniles from being raped. Reed was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and taken to Pottawattamie County Corrections. ---------------------------------------
About 30 people were fighting and throwing things when officers arrived at the scene just before noon Friday.

Officers were dispatched to South Tenth Street and Fourth Avenue about 10 p.m. for a disturbance with possible weapons, according to reports. A dozen witnesses were standing by when officers arrived.
