Posted by Mary on 7/23/2007, 6:51 pm, in reply to "Re: Local News" The victim is identified as Lamond Secret Jr. Police were notified at 3:53 a.m. that he had arrived by private vehicle at Creighton University Medical Center for treatment of a gunshot wound. Secret told officers that he had been in a parking lot near 72nd and Ames Avenue when he heard a gunshot and then felt pain in his leg.
Authorities are investigating a shooting that injured a 19-year-old Omahan shortly before 4 o'clock Sunday morning.
