Witnesses said the man became angry and drew a large knife and began swinging it at Meyer, cutting him on the hand and arm. Meyer reportedly picked up a piece of metal and attempted to knock the knife free. The suspect, later identified as Sebastian Hernandez, 47, no address listed, sustained injury to his right arm and a small cut above his left eye. ------------------------------------ Omaha, NE) -- Police are investigating the assault of a man in the Benson area last night. Officers responded to a call of suspicious activity at Auto Corp near 61st and Military around 6:15. The assault victim, sixty-five-year-old James Clark, was found in the trunk of a car located inside the business. He was transported to Creighton University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. ------------------------------ Omaha, NE) -- No one was injured Sunday in an robbery at an eatery. Two employees at the Old Chicago restaurant near 144th and West Center say two men came into the business around 9 a.m., and demanded cash at gunpoint. The two are black, between 20 and 25-years-old. The first suspect was wearing a dark colored shirt and pants and was approximately six feet tall. The second man was wearing a white tank top and dark-colored shorts and approximately five-feet-eight inches tall. -------------------------------- Madison County officials believe they know who is responsible for the death of a man whose body was found in a rural area Monday. County Attorney Joe Smith refused to name his suspects in the death of Robert Pearson Junior. Council Bluffs police officers were dispatched to the 800 block of First Avenue on report of a stabbing about 9:30 p.m. Reports said Duane J. Meyer, 46, had stab wounds on his right hand and arm.
