Teresa Negron says Thomas Warren, Junior, was giving a ride to his friend, Charles Tealer, when they came upon the intersection and saw a large group of people gathered near the street. Negron says the people in Warren's vehicle heard what they thought were fireworks. That's when Tealer discovered he had been shot in the arm. No one else in the vehicle was injured. Warren drove Tealer to the hospital for treatment and the police were called to the hospital. -------------------------------------- An Omaha man ends up in the hospital after a shooting early Saturday morning. 39-year-old Dwayne Blackson told police he was walking near 20th and Willis around 2:45 a.m. when he was shot in the arm. Police found Blackson at the scene suffering from a gunshot wound.
A 17-year-old friend of the Omaha Police Chief's son was shot early Saturday while the chief's son was driving him home.
