Around 11:30, police found 21-year-old Mario Peek in the driveway of a house. He'd been shot in the neck and stabbed. Peek is listed in serious condition. Police have not released any information about a suspect or a motive ----------------------- Omaha Police are investigating a shooting that sent the victim to the hospital with a stomach wound. It happened around 5:15 Saturday afternoon and authorities are looking for several suspects. Authorities are looking for answers from two teenagers about a double murder in North Platte. The teens were arrested after a high-speed chase in Wyoming. One of the teens arrested is the daughter of one of the murder victims. ------------------------------ An Omaha man is recovering after his ex-girlfriend allegedly ran over him with her car. Police say that 21-year-old John Goynes was driving on Maple Street near 93rd Friday night when his ex-girlfriend rammed the back of his car several times with her vehicle. Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with a grisly double murder in North Platte. They were taken into custody after a high-speed chase in Wyoming Friday. State troopers there arrested them in connection with the stabbing deaths of a woman and her five-year-old daughter.
Police are looking for a woman wanted in connection with a hit-and-run accident that happened late Wednesday morning. Police say she may not be too hard to spot, because when she was last seen she was wearing handcuffs. As police were apprehending a second suspect, the cuffed female suspect managed to escape from the back of a locked police car. The suspect police were able to put into custody is twenty-seven-year-old Martin Mildrexler. He was arrested after he fled the scene of the accident at 60th and Pacific, only to crash his van into a house a few blocks away. While police continue their search for the female suspect, Mildrexler has been booked on a variety of charges, including felony flight to avoid arrest.
