Thirty-year-old Carlos Helmstadter of Lincoln says two males forced him to exit his vehicle at gunpoint around 12:45 near 40th and Ames and then drove off in his green 1995 Chevy Caprice SS. They are described as black men between 18 and 25, both wearing black pants and black coats. -------------------------------- Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with shots being fired at a vehicle in Council Bluffs around 10:30 Tuesday night. Police have arrested 18-year-old James Hamilton and 18-year-old Thomas Kerns in connection with that incident. They are both charged with two counts of intimidation with a dangerous weapon.
(Omaha, NE) -- A 17-year-old is fighting for his life this morning after being wounded by gunfire last night. Police say the teen was walking near 28th and Spencer around 8:30 last night when the shooting occurred. He was transported to Creighton University Medical Center in critical condition.
