Posted by Mary on 4/22/2007, 9:33 am, in reply to "Re: Local News" Police were called to 30th and Charles around 10:30 p.m. to investigate a report of shots fired in the area. The call was upgraded to a shooting as police responded. Investigators say that people were attending a party at 1407 North 31st Street. The altercation began there and then moved outside the residence. Several shots were fired and three people were injured. Two of the victims were transported by rescue squads to Creighton University Medical Center with injuries that were not considered to be life threatening. The third victim was transported by a private vehicle to the Creighton University Medical Center --------------------------------
Three people were shot Friday night after a verbal altercation at a party escalated to gunfire. All of the victims are expected to recover.
