Administrators at Lefler Middle School found the list when they were disciplining the teen on Tuesday. The boy did not have any weapons, but the list included names of students whom the boy said he would like to harm as a form of payback. The boy has been removed from the school. --------------------------- (Omaha, NE) -- An Omaha man has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting from last year. Marcus Hudson faces first-degree murder charges in the death of 21-year-old Verron Jones. Jones was in May 2005 near 42nd Street and Fontenelle Boulevard. Hudson was arrested in Colorado where he was serving time for federal drug charges. -------------------------------- Omaha, NE -- Just after three this morning a man was taken to a hospital after being stabbed three times. Another man was taken into custody in connection with the incident, which occurred in an apartment complex at 47th and LaFayette. The victim is listed in critical condition. ------------------------------ Omaha, NE) -- A meeting with an Omaha high school parent turned scary Tuesday for Burke High School officials. Authorities say 39-year-old Nancy Finley became upset and began threatening to harm the teachers as well as cause damage to the building. After the incident, Omaha police found Finley at her residence, where she was taken into custody. Finley faces charges of making terrorist threats. ----------------------------------- 23-year-old Omaha woman driver intentionally struck a police cruiser early today and then tried hitting an officer with her car, police said. The officer was on patrol on South 13th Street near Missouri Avenue about 1:20 a.m. when he ran a check on the license plate on the woman's car, said Officer Bill Dropinski, a police spokesman. The woman, who was in the lane next to him, swerved to hit the cruiser and lost control of her car, which then stalled, Dropinski said. The officer got out of his cruiser and asked the woman to get out of her car. At that point, she restarted her car and drove at the officer, Dropinski said. He moved out of the way. The woman drove over the Veterans Memorial Bridge into Iowa. The Omaha police helicopter located her car near 24th Street and U.S. Highway 275 in Council Bluffs. She was arrested after police dogs found her nearby in a wooded area.
(Omaha, NE) -- A road rage incident in Omaha turned to gunfire Thursday morning. Officers were called to the area of 72nd Street and Grant Street at around 9:30 a.m., where a Cadillac and pickup truck were seen driving recklessly and cutting each other off. At the intersection, the driver of the pickup truck approached the person in the Cadillac and was struck in the hand by a bullet. The victim drove himself to the hospital and is expected to be fine. Omaha police are looking for the driver of the newer model white Cadillac.
