The incident was captured on the ATM surveillance camera at the First National Bank near 120th and Blondo streets around 5 a.m. The 17-year-old suspect was arrested late Wednesday night and was booked on suspicion of robbery, as well as use of a weapon to commit a felony. ------------------------------- Just before 2:00 this morning, passengers in two moving vehicles opened fire on each other near 72nd and Ames. The cars then sped down Ames, covering more than 50 city blocks as the suspects continued their gun battle. The two cars finally crashed around 18th and Ames, and three of the suspects then fled on foot. One was caught by police and taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The search continues for the other three suspects. --------------------------------------- Several blocks of downtown Lincoln had to be evacuated this morning due to a bomb scare. The bomb squad was sent to the State Office Building just after 6:00, on reports of a suspicious package outside. A four-block radius was cleared while the package was investigated. ----------------------------- An Omaha pharmacist was arrested Friday for allegedly trading drugs and money for sex. The Nebraska State Patrol said a six-month investigation showed Randall Paulsen, 62, gave drugs, money and merchandise to a woman with a drug addiction in exchange for sexual favors. Paulsen is the owner of Randy’s Pharmacy in west Omaha, where he is also the pharmacist. ---------------------------
A woman wanted on a murder charge in Texas was arrested in Iowa, police said. Wanda Jens, 47, was arrested at a Council Bluffs apartment Wednesday night.
