(Omaha, NE) -- The clerk at a north Omaha convenience is in the hospital after being shot during a robbery this morning. The gunman entered the Kum and Go near 38th and Hamilton just after five a.m. and demanded money. Before the clerk could open the register, police say the suspect shot 30-year-old Michael Colvin. The gunman then took money from a customer. Colvin is in critical condition, but he is expected to survive. The suspect is described as a 17 to 19 year-old black man. He's about five-foot-seven, 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a white mask.
