The body was found along some railroad tracks by a Union Pacific employee, who phoned it in. The Omaha Police Department says they're treating this as a suspicious death. ---------------------------------- (Omaha, NE) -- Police would likely not advise this but an Omaha man fought back when he was attacked Saturday night scaring the would be robber away. Police say the man was sitting on his porch at his apartment near 48th and Farnam when another man came up and hit him in the face. The victim fought back punching his assailant in the face who then ran off into the night. The man did not suffer any serious injuries and did keep his wallet. -----------------------------------
(Omaha, NE) -- Shots were fired at 26th and Emmet on Sunday morning, critically injuring a 35-year-old Omaha man. The victim, Reginald Collins, suffered from a gunshot wound and was transported to the Nebraska Medical Center. No details on circumstances or suspects have been released.
