Police said Marilyn and Rollan Aubert, 74 and 75, were assaulted in their home. Their daughter, Lorrie Bryant, told KETV NewsWatch 7 that her mother's wrists are bruised from being tied together during nearly an hour of terror at the hands of two men. "(They) went into their bedroom, turning their lights on. Had masks on and a gun and beat my father while he was lying in bed," Bryant said. "(They) bound my mother's wrist and ankles and had a pillow over her head," she said. Bryan says her mom and dad were eventually locked in the bathroom. The robbers demanded money, then found an ATM card and demanded the PIN number. Bryant said one of the men took her parents' car while the other stayed back. "My mom was really fearing for their lives," Bryant said. "The suspect returned back to the house," said Lincoln police spokeswoman Kacki Finnell. "The victim had given a wrong personal identification number." Finnell said the men eventually decided to take off after stealing jewelry. Bryant said they took two rings and two watches. Bryant said it's the trauma her parents suffered that she's most concerned about. She said her dad has a heart condition and is recovering from his injuries at a Lincoln hospital. ------------------------------------ OMAHA, Neb. -- An 81-year-old woman was shot during a home invasion in Omaha on Monday.
