The victim, 28-year-old Terrance Swift, told investigators he was driving in the area just before 8 p.m. when a green van pulled up next to him and a passenger fired several shots at his vehicle. Swift was transported to Immanuel Hospital in a private vehicle with one gunshot wound. ------------------------------------- Omaha Police are investigating a shooting that happened late Saturday morning near 34th and Lake. Two men were shot and one was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The two victims say they were sitting outside just before noon when they heard gunshots. Courtney Holloway, 28, realized he had been hit and called for help. He was rushed to the hospital in serious condition. Also shot was 20-year-old Brontea Evans. Evans was taken to the hospital in critical condition ------------------------------- Omaha police responded to reports of gunfire at the corner of the street and found Ashley Greer with gunshot wounds. She was taken to Nebraska Medical Center and is expected to recover. However, police say Troy Johnsonan was brought by private car to Creighton Medical Center with gunshot wounds from the same location. He died from his injuries. -----------------------------------
I think we should all be concerned with what is going on in our community. The trend of violance and the need to protect our self and our family. I try to give you a little running over view in these updates. Please read a number of them to get a good feel of where our community is going and to understand why we should protect ourself.
