**************************************************** A. WOODWARD DREAM CRUISE: August 20 - 21
This project is coming up fast and we need Senators to help sell products to raise $$$. A signup sheet was passed around at the August Senate Meeting with time slots for:
Friday.....August 20.....12 - 4 PM and 4 - 9 PM
Saturday.....August 21.....10 - 4 PM and 4 - 9 PM
Once again we are selling products in the parking lot of the Phoenix Center in Pontaic. Directions to the Phoenix Center (courtesy of the Arts, Beats and Eats website) can be found by going to: http://www.artsbeatseats.com/asp/map.asp
It will cost you to park unless you contact Pat Malac for a parking pass. Pat can be reached by cell phone at: (248) 330-9198.
We all look forward to seeing ya'll (that was for LAR).
**************************************************** B. MI JCI SENATE GOLF OUTING: August 28
So far the response has been FAB-U-LOUS! We understand that 12 of our fellow Senators are coming from Illinois. The golf registration form should be available online soon. Please contact Dick Tice (information at the bottom of the registration form) at this point if you plan to play golf either Friday or Saturday.
IMPORTANT: Due to the high turnout expected, we are asking people to bring a dish to pass for the hospitality room.
**************************************************** C. RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL: September 11 - 12
Rooms are only available at the Wingate Inn thru August 10th (that's this TUESDAY!). Pat Malac informed us that there would be boxes of costumes for those who plan to work the event. We have several tents that need to be staffed for both days. If you are planning to work either day, please call Pat on his cell phone at (248) 330-9198 to signup.
The Renaissance Festival is in Holly, MI. Directions can be located by going to: http://www.michrenfest.com/directions.htm.
