Brian Klinge (Senator #60500), 32nd President of the MI JCI Senate and who was injured on the job June 23rd, should be going home tomorrow (July 14th). Over the weekend, BK developed a blood clot in his right leg. On Wednesday the doctors will evaluate his condition and if all goes well, he should be discharged around 2PM.
Jerry Wendelken (Senator # 23161 and Life Member #19) is continuing to do well after having quadruple by-pass surgery on June 4th. Jerry is hoping to attend the July Senate meeting.
Doug Hincker (Senator #22200) is home after having surgery on June 23rd and is continuing to improve each day. He is walking more, but it still hurts to laugh. They are hoping in the next couple of weeks he can start driving again. Doug is also hoping to attend July's meeting.
Al Bates (Senator #51211) had a heart attack 7/12/04. He is currently at Oakwood Wyandotte hospital. No further information is available at this time. Thank you Rich Lindow for this information.
