Our 72nd MIJC President, past USJC Legal Counsel and Chaplain, Walter J. Downes, is a candidate for Ionia County Probate Court Judge. The Primary election is August 3rd and General election is November 2nd. He is having a fundraiser on June 16 6:30-8:30 at the Daily Grind in Ionia ($20 donation). There is also a need for assistance with parades June 13 in Pewamo, July 4 in Portland and July 24 in Ionia Free Fair Parade, as well as door to door campaigning. Any assistance, including financial, would be greatly appreciated.
