On Saturday, March 15, 2008, the Grand Rapids Jaycees will host the 27th Annual Special Olympics Michigan State Basketball Tournament. More than 400 athletes from 15 counties across West Michigan are expected to participate in this all day tournament that will utilize six courts at three different schools (Forest Hills Central High School, Forest Hills Central Middle School, and Central Woodlands 5/6 School).
Games start at 8:30 a.m. with medal rounds scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. Come out and cheer on these inspirational athletes! Admission is FREE.
