Bill was the owner of Wingfield Martin Insurance Agency located in Livonia, Michigan. He was a U.S. Army veteran, President of Redford, Michigan Jaycee's, President of the Michigan Professional Insurance Association, Board Member of the National Professional Insurance Association, President of the Redford Michigan Rotary and the 5th President of the Michigan JCI Senate. Bill was a caring and compassionate man who touched the lives of everyone he met with his positive outlook and memorable sense of humor. He will be missed by his loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday November 17th, 2006 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday, November 18th, 2006, from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home in Farmington, Michigan. William "Bill" George Martin, 70, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2006. Bill was born September 4, 1936, in Detroit, Michigan. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Maxine Martin; daughter Pamela (Kurt) Sauter; daughter Debbie (Tim) McDonnell; son Scott (Debbie) Martin. Missing their Grandpa with a Cane are grandchildren Ryan and Garrett Sauter, Sean McDonnell, & Jack and Ben Martin. He is also survived by his sister Eileen (Dale) Grinstead.
