Don't overbake these cookies or they will be little hockey pucks. Once cooled, store in an air tight container to keep them soft.
2 cups lightly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp hot water
2 2/3 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 pkg (300g) CHIPITS Milk Chocolate
Baking Chips
(or whatever flavor you prefer!)
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Beat melted butter or margarine, lightly packed brown sugar, eggs, and hot water; mix well.
Stir in all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix well.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop from small teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool slightly. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
