1/2 cup soft butter , 1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 egg yolk , 1 cup flour
Combine all ingredients, mixing to a smooth dough.
Press into 12 muffin tins to form tart shells.
FILLING:
2 egg whites , 1/2 cup lighty packed brown sugar
1/2 cup coconut , 1/3 cup chopped cherries
1/4 cup chopped nuts , 1 tsp vanilla
Beat egg whites to stiff peaks. Stir in remaining ingredients. Mix well. Spoon into prepared shells.
Bake at 325 for 20 minutes
