Alan, don't worry about your comment. I'm just glad I didn't finish the bodywork and paint it like I was going to! I opened up the trailer today to salvage parts from the willys but it started pouring rain before I could get it off the trailer. I called the track today to see if anyone had any tape of the crash and they told me they would try to find out, but not to count on it. My wife was in the stands by the tower filming. She got me hitting the wall but stopped filming and hauled to the end of the track to make sure I was still alive. If anthing good comes out of this for me, it will be that other racers take notice and check their rides out to make sure they have done everything possible to protect themselves.I was one of those racers that believed it would never happen to me, but I was going to be damn well prepared if it did!
