To those of you interested. Jim is doing well after his crash in his 41 Willys. He is sore but thank God that's all he is. Of course he's not happy about the loss of his car, but that's something we can replace. For those of you who race in these events, please make sure that you have the right equipment for your class. His chassis was IHRA certified. He is alive today because of the roll cage he built in that car and the neck brace he wore. Some people told him when he was building that cage that it was overkill, but he didn't listen to them because he wanted to be sure he could walk away from a crash and Sunday March 16th 2008 @ kennedale that's exactly what he did. Thanks to Jonathan Beard for being johnny-on-the-spot and to the Ambulance crew. Race safe.
