If I remember correctly, you don't have to hold the button down to back the car up do you? If not, just take the button out of the car. That way there is no way to activate it so it is essentially removed.
Some transmissions with a brake (like TorqueFlites) have to be placed in neutral and the button pushed to back the car up, so they cannot removed the brake this way..... takes a different valve body.
