If you look at the cars in the faster classes they are not you typical daily driven street muscle cars. Most of them are race cars and not intended for street use.
If you want a stick only class why not try racing stock class in the NHRA? Sounds like a few guys moaning because they can not be competitive with a stick car. I race against a lot of stick cars that are consistent. Try going out and making tuning runs when not racing to get better with your shifting. Of course I do not know why the trans brake cars were given their own class. I really see no advantage in having just a trans brake in the car. Then the line lock thing is mainly for burn outs. Want to be more competitive with a stick? One word.....PRACTICE!
