Custard Pie Crust
When making custard type pies, I used to have a problem with the custard soaking through the crust. Now I moisture proof the crust by painting it. Prebake the crust and allow it to cool. Then brush the bottom with melted chocolate and let it harden. Fill the pie and bake. No soggy
bottoms and better tasting pies!
