Homemade Mustard
1/2 cup each white vinegar
white sugar
sweet cream (single cream)
2 tbsp each flour
dry mustard
1 egg
optional turmeric, to color
Mix all ingredients with a wire whisk in top of a double boiler. Bring
to a boil on stovetop over medium heat. Continue to boil lightly until
thick. After thickened, remove from heat and sprinkle a little turmeric
in and blend to add more yellow color.
Store in the refrigerat
