Pretty in Pink Cherry Turnovers
1 package (12.5 ounces) Pepperidge FarmŽ Cherry Turnovers
3/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup seedless raspberry jam
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint leaves
Mint sprigs (optional)
Bake the turnovers according to the package directions.
Beat the cream in a medium bowl with an electric mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form. Beat in the jam and almond extract.
Stir the sugar and mint in a small bowl. Place the turnovers onto dessert plates. Top with the whipped cream and sprinkle with the mint sugar. Garnish with the mint sprigs, if desired.
