are amongst the very hardest for the very best to play
but the fourth is my favourite i think
is a masterpiece
a work of art
a magnum opus etude
but the premiere (in 97) of symphony number 1 was so rude
sergei turned to medicinal drink
and in 1904 he even led the bol'shoy
but come the revolution, russia gave him no joy
so he went to the states in a wink
until 1926
when he played his best suit
the concerto no.4
its an absolute beaut!
