I feel fortunate that I am financially secure, so I would be willing to pay for the shirt swap with Tooting. Not bragging here, but it really shows our club in a bad light, although I understand the need to be prudent with the finances. Would there be any point in mailing the club? Do we get a response these days?

I think it would be a great gesture on your part NCH! Shirt swopping is supposed to be a spontaneous action and leaving it to some distant date in the future when we may have emerged from administration rather defeats the object IMHO.
Jim Melrose message to County fans Posted by Bermuda Hatter on 18/8/2009, 10:08 am just got off the phone with Jim Melrose. He asked me to assure all County fans that the money is in place to take SCFC out of administration and that they are having a meeting with the administrators tomorrow and an official announcement is due in next 48 hrs.
But the word promise has never been used, it is just thrown about on here, I agree with you as a parent myself about using the word, and mine range from 25 to 33 years old so I have had to be careful for a long time
I'm sure that works for you as a parent but it doesn't seem to be in operation when you state "I'll buy the next one".............nice tea cosy BTW....He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone
That hat is back where it belongs - wrapped around the t-pot in the kitchen. Im sure you will be seeing it on my head a lot more before winters over :-D
It is indeed a fine line, I would say ask it once or twice and it is a question, whether answered or not, if it is a constant barrage of the same question it becomes a moan, all imho of course
