SO........

...are we going to start being proactive and do something about all this or are we going to sit here on our keyboards b1tching about how bad things are but not being prepared to do anything about it? Decision time is here people, either put up or shut up!

I am happy to get involved/organise things but we need to get something going!

and before anyone starts saying anything about action putting the club in a bad light, well I'm sorry but I think we've been....

A) patient for too long
B) fed too much bullsh1T
c) taken for idiots

At the moment we are the only asset this club has, we need to start asking questions, demanding answers and sorting this farce out.

I'm up for any constructive ideas but I haven't got a clue as to how we'd go about it, boycotting games will just speed up the sales of OFW, Baker and Mullins, LC don't care how the money comes in. The fact is they are in charge and we are a source of income to them and nothing more as I said if that dries up they'll just turn to another source.
A mass demo in the main Stand could lose us some of our long standing fans, there are a lot of families and old people in there, I'm not saying do nothing but let's just think of the consequences before we act.

How about everyone that wants to air their frustration goes to the game on Sat and doesnt buy a ticket and we all sing "Were not coming in until we know" Then if we can get mass numbers outside the directors lounge they will see how much revenue they are loosing from that game too.

I don't think the Main Stand for next week is a bad idea. I'll be in there if were up for it? It's gone beyond a joke now. No doubt they will dodge the game after reading about a potential protest on here but we don't need them there to show that were together on this and won't be fobbed off!

A few people went into the Main Stand after the game yesterday to try and get some answers, its easy to get into it from the Cheadle End, and even if they get wind of it and don't let people in, just standing at the bottom corner of the Cheadle End will get the point across.

Bluetiger; i know you just mentioned that. Those who are making plans need to do it at a pub rather than on here spontanously. Remember what happened to the SS demo

That's what I was thinking.

Get down to Edgeley @11:30 & hit ALL the boozers where County fans are drinking (you don't have to drink in every pub yourself ), and let them know of any plan which is in place regarding a protest.

Maybe some sort of demo after the game?

I'm pretty sure the word would spread within the ground that way, and maybe you would have a hundred or so game for it.......

If I wasn't exiled I'd be up for it.

I agree, SOMETHING has to be done a mass boycott or fans going into the Main Stand en masse next week.

The people involved only see us as pound coins. Not as people. Not as moral owners.

It strikes me that the way to make them act is to prove our worth.

Unfortunately that would have a detrimental effect on the clubs finances and arguably do more harm than good.

Then again, if we could somehow boycott a game where the income wasn't budgeted for, or where we only got a third of gate receipts anyway.....

I don't have a clue who we'd be protesting about which is why despite my frustration I've not posted anything serious about it. But on the other hand we shouldn't just stand by and let whoever it is that's taking us for a ride continue to do so.

Mark Maguire Yes. He tarnished this club with the GFAP fiasco. He led this club to the position it is now. Is he still wanted at this club?

No. He is just the bidder that won the race to buy County in my eyes. He doesn't appear to have the cash now. What would it achieve?

No. Although they haven't always helped us I think we should be getting them onside to help us out of this mess.

Yes. They are sitting back and watching us go out of existence. Shame on them.

YES. They are damaging the long term future of our club whilst at the same time taking tens of thousands of pounds for little or no effort.

Not sure what this would achieve. At the end of the day they associated themselves with the club, stitched up our MD and chairman and then waited for it all to go pear shaped before pulling the plug.

It does surprise me that two people who claimed to be supporters of the club haven't done the decent thing and walked away.

on the basis that they probably won't be there, wouldn't it be a better idea to turn up at their office instead?

ps - not aimed at you TLOBS in any way but if people are planning to protest and they also consider the 'jury to be out' on jim melrose then they should also bear in mind that he is likely to be sat next to his four year old son.

i'm not saying people should or shouldn't do anything but i would point out that a few raised voices might not sound too pleasant through the ears of a four year old kid.

Again that I am NOT suggesting any form of violent protest/demo! that would get us nowhere and would only play into the hands of those that, one way or another, want to get their hands on our club! All I'm saying is that we, as a group of supporters, have shown remarkable loyalty and patience (to the stage where we are looking like idiots) towards our club over the last 6 months, we have been fed (at best) half truths, we have seen promise after promise broken, time scale after time scale passed and yet these people (and their associates) just expect us to keep turning up paying our money and not to ask any questions, I cannot think of any other business that whilst trying to come out of administration would treat it's only customer with such contempt!
We deserve answers and we deserve to know the truth about just exactly what is going on at OUR club, we can give up any hope of any help from local councillors especially the "life long" County fan who now seems very comfortable sat in the Directors box,( I can't imagine what local people who have been screwed by the previous regime will think about a Local councillor socialising with those that screwed them, perhaps she'll find out at the next local election?) so we have to do this ourselves, there have been a couple of suggestions made about non-violent protests, I hope that we as a group of fans will take them forward at least then if our club goes t!ts up we can say that we didn;t just sit back and let it happen?
