The Budget Archived Message Posted by Yeti on 1/9/2023, 21:39:44, in reply to "Re: Dave's match preview" After last week's loss, DC's post match fighting talk indicated there'd be an influx of players based upon some leaving the club. Two first team squad players have gone and we've brought in a couple of kids on loan, albeit ones who have a bright future apparently. Now Chally mentions the constraints of a budget which is understandable but based on where we were a week ago to now it doesn't feel like a lot has happened. Now we may sign a great player with a minute left of the transfer deadline but it sounds like we probably won't. Which leaves me wondering and I know this is a negative comment but it just feels to me like half our budget has been blown on one (injury prone) player who certainly doesn't seem like a Chally type player.
