Membership On the Up! After months of solid activity by the Supporters Cooperative culminating in the erection outside Edgeley Park of our magnificent statue in honour of Danny Bergara, it was very gratifying to hear Membership Officer Paul Thompson announce a significant upsurge in membership from 220 just 3 months ago to 256 last week. Well done Paul and welcome to all of those who have joined us! . Stockport Hatters Half Marathon 2023 We are equally delighted to hear from Race Director John Giles that over 300 runners have signed up to run this year`s event, the eighth that the Supporters Cooperative have promoted and organised making another excellent uniquely Stockport occasion certain. To watch this year`s race turn up at the Cheadle End Car Park before start time 9.30 am this Sunday the finish is in nearby Alexandra Park and you need to be there for 10.30 to be sure not to miss all the excitement! Big thanks go to our sponsor Colourtone Ltd for their magnificent support and to Stockport County for again allowing us the use of the nation`s premier football stadium! AGM News We can confirm that the 2023 AGM will be held at 7.30 pm on Monday 20 November at the Spinning Top. For anyone thinking of standing for election to the board of the Cooperative we can advise that there are 4 vacancies this year. Two current board members will be standing for election again with 2 vacancies to fill. Details of how to stand and other relevant information will be sent out to members in good time for the AGM. . Shirts to the Knoll Please! We are running a pitch at Help the Hatters upcoming Programme & Memorabilia Fair on 17 September at 10 am in the 1883 Suite which is in support of St Anns Hospice. We intend to offer items of County apparel, and our unique calendars at a reduced price ,but we are short of County shirts - if you have any you could kindly donate for us to sell on the 17th please bring them to the Grassy Knoll next to the Cheadle End Car Park between 1.15 and 2.5 this Saturday before the match with Crawley Town thank you.
